Carrot, Orange, Ginger, and Turmeric Juice

Ingredients

5 large carrots

2 oranges; peeled

1-2 inch piece fresh ginger

1 inch piece fresh turmeric root


Juice ingredients. Mix thouroughly in a pitchen, then pour over ice. 


Health Benefits

Carrots contain Vitamin A, which is necessary for vision, strengthens the immune system, and acts as an antixidant. Carrots also are a good source of potassium, high in soluble fiber, and contain vitamin C when consumed raw.

Oranges are high in Vitamin C. Vitamin C has numerous functions including but not limited to: antioxidant support, immunity, collagen formation, bone development, adrenal gland hormones, hormone and amio acid synthesis, and gum health.

Ginger is anti-inflammatory, stimulates digestion, and is used to reduce intestinal gas, sore throats, and colds.

Turmeric is anti-inflammatory, and used for arthritis, joint pain, and indigestion.
